4 Critical Components to online success

Do you want a website or a strong online presence?

If you knew there were only 4 components to achieving online success, would you take action consistently?

number4 4 Critical Components to online successWe find that almost every Realtor we speak with wants to do more business online, yet most are not willing to do what it takes!

So we are going to assume that you answered YES to our question above and we are going to break it down for you.

There are 4 critically important steps that you must focus on if you want to succeed with your online real estate marketing.

1.  Setting up a solid Foundation / Framework

What does this mean?  A solid foundation/framework is achieved when you have successfully integrated a few core technologies, such as:

  • Primary blog site
  • Email marketing program
  • Contact mgmt system
  • IDX or VOW home search
  • Social Media Profiles

2.  Fresh & Relevant Content -

This is where most people just flat out drop the ball.  Content can be written, video and/or audio and doesn't necessarily have to be exclusive to your sites; in fact, it is much better to have your content on as many other social media sites as you can. So how do you do this?

  • Participate in forums
  • Comment on other people's blogs
  • Participate in Social Media sites
  • Upload your videos to sites like Youtube

3.  Call To Actions

This is the first step in converting visitors to prospects!  You are not trying to sell anyone anything at this moment!  Let me repeat that statement:

You're NOT trying to sell anyone anything at this moment!

All you are trying to do is to get the visitor to express some interest in what you have to offer: expertise, information, help, etc….

4.  Credibility & Trust -

By far this is the most difficult of the 4 components to achieve. So let's talk about how you achieve credibility and trust in the eyes of your readers, friends, fans …. "clients, customers and prospects"!

Since most of us like to see "social proof" that something or someone is for real we tend to look for the following when making a choice to engage with others.

Here are a few of the more common items people will be looking for:

  • Comments from other people on your blog
  • Comments/Likes on your Facebook page
  • ReTweets on your Tweets
  • Links to your site from other reputable sites
  • Original thoughts and Authenticity in your content

So, let me ask you a slightly different question:

"Do you want a boring website or strong online presence?"

Thanks for helping me with setting up my blog Drew!  I was really lost and you made it so easy!  It's amazing what one can do with just a little technological knowledge.  My specialty is selling homes, not technology but I know the value of social media, just didn't know how to get there.  My site is now up and running and I'm having so much fun adding content, video's, photos, and just things that I find interesting in North San Diego. I recommend to my Realtor friends that if they want to set up a blog and become successful at marketing online, that they hire Drew to help them.  Money well spent!
