Welcome to the May 26, 2009 edition of carnival of real estate.
We know the Carnival of Real Estate hasn’t been around as long as the Indy 500 …

… but both had a few crash and burn accidents this weekend!
Web Real Estate Tools is honored to be the Hosting of the Carnival of Real Estate, we have to say we were impressed with a number of the blog posts submitted this week.
After reading all the submissions that passed the qualifying laps we have narrowed the list to our top ten favorites, listed below for your reading.
Most of the submissions ran a good race, these posters safely made it around the course avoiding the many collisions created by a few reckless bloggers and past the checkered flag!
#10. Barry Wolfert presents Atlanta, Georgia Housing Market Review posted at North Atlanta Real Estate Voice.
#9. Stan Humphries presents When the Bottom Arrives, A Flood of “Shadow Inventory”? posted at Zillow Blog.
#8. John Wake presents Phoenix Area Home Market at a Glance – April MLS median sold price $118,000 posted at Arizona Real Estate Notebook, saying, “Data a lot of Realtors and home buyers would be interested in presented in a clear way graphically and with video.” Way to go John! The video explanation of your chart is a great example of how to use video in a blog. Great job.
#7. Jack Schmidt presents Blog Carnival – Submit an Article to a Carnival posted at SectorMatic Money Journal, saying, “Personal Finance – Everything for the Big Spender on a Budget. Now you can live like a fat cat, even if you’re on a money diet. Laugh all the way to the bank with Jack Schmidt and SectorMatic. It’s for you!”
#6. Joey Poltor presents Trailer Park Pimpin posted at Real Estate Entrepreneur, saying, “Please take a look at my site. My blog is above and I am a small time real estate investor. My site is www.BSOhome.com
Thanks a bunch and I hope I make it into the canival.”
#5. Marlow Harris presents Is this the right time to start or expand your discount realty business? posted at 360Digest, saying, “Many real estate firms are expanding now during this down market. Can they make money and stay in business?”
#4. Diego Cervantes presents the Ultimate Guide to Web Marketing for Real Estate Agents posted at Real Estate Agent Database Blog.
These guys made it to the winners podium!
#3 Jay Thompson - Bronze trophy
Well what can we really say about Mr. Thompson, a.k.a. “The Phoenix Real Estate Guy”. Like one of my favorite Indy racers, Danica Patrick, Jay delivers another impressive blog post and gives a great example of what it means to be a professional and a winner.
Read his blog post at You Have Full Permission to Advertise My Listings posted at The Phoenix Real Estate Guy, saying, “Thanks for hosting!”
#2 Todd ? (Todd is a lawyer who obviously doesn’t believe in sharing his last name!) Silver trophy
Unlike Dan Wheldon who delivered a quiet second place win @ Indy, Todd does a great job sharing his playbook for developing your “Rules for Investing in Real Estate”, this is a must read.
Share this one with your clients right away: Adventures in Real Estate posted at The Personal Finance Playbook.
#1 Aaron Dickinson – OUR GOLD WINNER
Just like Helio Castroneves Aaron pulled away from the pack with this one. We tend to agree with your position on the REO / Foreclosure agents, we appreciate your honesty.
Read his post at I’m P*ssed Off At Some REO(Foreclosure) Agents posted at The Twin Cities Real Estate Blog.
That concludes this edition!
Have a post you are really proud of ? Submit your blog article to the next edition of carnival of real estate using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
In preparing to host this event, we read several of the recent host blogs and quickly realized that multiple entries/spam has been an ongoing annoyance. Some people just don’t get it! We had some who submitted as many as five entries this week. This is the equivalent of crashing on the pace lap before the race even begins….
Technorati tags: carnival of real estate, blog carnival.

Thanks for the mention, there are some great reads here.
So, me and Danika… I kinda like that idea. The wife might have a problem with it though.
Hey Peter,
Thanks for the post and for hosting this weeks Carnival. It’s good to see so much quality writing out there.

Thanks for the trophy. I’ll display it proudly! My last name is Metheny. I started out blogging anonymously. I recently added my last name to the blog. Thanks for hosting. Nice theme, write-ups, etc. I’m going to have to make my link back more elaborate to brag about my second place finish.
