Redfin thinks short sales are a no no

Had to laugh when i saw this …

redfin 223x300 Redfin thinks short sales are a no no… Redfin prides itself in research (or so I thought).

So they won’t even show a home listed as a short sale? Presumably they won’t list them either?

Don’t they know how many are closing in San Diego every day?

My buyers agents are closing at least 30% of our sales in short sale status!

If we were not so busy getting more great content for our members I would take a sample and post it here – but we figure you would rather have more tutorials, right?

Indeed, they are still restricting short sales. We see the same here in Seattle, though our short sale percentage is lower than yours in San Diego. I’ve written about it in our blog:

Seems funny as almost they don’t want to put forth the effort. Kind of a disservice to their clients. But whatever, you get what you pay for I guess.
